A Bright New Look for Lisnasharragh Leisure Centre
Petal, with its long standing reputation for a strong performance in leisure facilities, was selected to supply and fit the changing and washroom facilities for the Lisnasharragh Leisure Centre – a brand-new, £20million project.
Boasting a 25m, 8-lane competition pool with a 250-seater viewing gallery and a separate dive pool which will form the home of the Tom Daley Dive Academy, this centre is set to attract a host of swimming and diving competitors from across Northern Ireland.
This focus on aquatics means the demand for high-performance water-resistant washroom and changing facilities is more pertinent than ever, and Petal’s Sprint cubicle system was specified because of the combination of its commercial edge with outstanding durability in even the most challenging wet environments.
With other amenities in the centre including a gym, spin studio, five-a-side pitch, café, the centre, due for opening in Summer 2021 is sure to attract high footfall. The facilities provided by Petal, including showers, changing cubicles, WCs, locker, benches and vanity units have all been designed to provide a positive user experience in mind.
Solid surface vanity tops are replicated in grooming areas and the surface mounted rectangular basins and trough units add to the streamlined finish.
Petal’s experience in project planning and installation of leisure centre projects played an important role in the efficient delivery of this new facility.
