New Build Leisure Facility, Dublin

Petal’s range of cubicle and washroom solutions rose to the challenge of achieving a premium, robust and highly aesthetic result for this new build swimming pool and leisure facility in the Greater Dublin region.

This high-end leisure facility required a comprehensive washroom and changing room solution that would balance rugged durability with a sophisticated, modern aesthetic. The project needed to differentiate between high-traffic public areas and exclusive private member zones whilst maintaining a cohesive design language throughout the site.

Petal provided a bespoke suite of cubicle systems suitable for each of the locations contained – WC, shower and changing, as well as locker solutions and integrated plumbing systems (IPS). A bold palette of Peacock, Black, and Oak Woodgrain laminates was utilised to help arrive at a suitably striking finish.

Designed for high-impact use, the changing area features Sprint Leisure Cubicles, designed by Petal to specifically cater for the demands of a busy leisure environment. The design approach to the changing village maximised space and comfort, allowing for a positive user experience.  Petal’s Action 2 Locker system was employed in a striking Peacock and Black finish, secured with Ojmar coin return locks to achieve the desired result of premium-look practicality sought by the client. The lockers are  complemented by Action Bench Seating, supported by bespoke steel bracketing for maximum durability.

For wet environments, Petal’s Sprint and Sprint Plus cubicle ranges were installed – an excellent choice for areas of high moisture given the hard-wearing, water-resistant qualities of CGL and the system’s semi-framed nature with robust profile channels which allow tailoring to the individual design considerations of each project.

The use of woodgrain laminates brings a natural, warm feel to the space, contrasted by the P300 APS (Advanced Panel System) in solid Black. This system provides a sleek, hygienic finish behind WCs and urinals while concealing essential services.

To elevate the experience for club members, the private changing area was fitted with Action 2 Lockers in a full Peacock laminate. This vibrant, premium finish paired with Ojmar security hardware ensures a secure, boutique feel for the facility’s exclusive clientele.
