Petal was engaged on a package of leisure facility fitouts with main contractor Heron Brothers and architect McAdam Design to ensure the changing and washroom facilities provided the durability required for this high footfall leisure complex, whilst providing an aesthetic in keeping with the contemporary design of this state-of-the-art facility.

Andersontown Leisure Centre boasts the very latest in aquatic attractions including 3 high speed water slides- a drop slide, master blaster and body slide. Other features include an indoor surf simulator, 25m pool, state of the art gym facilities and outdoor pitches. Durability and high performance are essential in a washroom and changing solution for a pool application. With high moisture content, large visitor numbers and the rough and tumble of children and sports teams using the facilities, it is important to specify a cubicle system that will withstand each of these factors.

Petal’s Sprint cubicles are designed with exactly this high performance in mind. This semi-framed system with its continuous channel and integral legs provides a strong frame and the added stability of the connected headrail ensures the system can withstand the rigours of a busy leisure environment. The CGL surface provides the hard wearing and moisture resistant qualities necessary for such a setting and have been included here across changing, shower and toilet facilities.
