A bespoke approach achieves formidable results for CAT A London commercial office venue

Line Ultra cubicles provide the ultimate in sophistication and privacy for the WC and shower cubicles across the 6 floors of this impressive CAT A office project in Lambeth, London.

Throughout floors 1-5 – the office accommodation – Petal installed a 30mm HPL version of Line Ultra which achieves a robust solution for dry environments. This was coupled with Petal’s full height P100 Advanced Panel System with a top lockable hinge which provides convenient access to plumbing elements behind whilst concealing these elements in a highly streamlined manner. The washroom areas were complete with solid surface vanity units to suit the under-mounted basins.

An impressive basement facility comprises shower, WC and changing facilities with locker areas, grooming stations and bench seating all manufactured and installed by Petal. In this area, Line Ultra cubicles were installed in a 20mm CGL due to the waterproof quality required in the wet environment of a shower and changing area. For duct and access panels, Petal’s full height P300 APS was selected for the same reason – ensuring the complete cubicle achieved the robust and moisture resistance required.

Responding to the client’s requirements, Petal installed impressive bespoke table-top bench seating in 20mm solid compact laminate as well as bespoke towel drop base units with open shelving, grooming shelves and safety mirrors to complete a highly impressive staff facility.

The project, which overlooks Old Paradise Gardens, has transformed the former Costa Coffee roastery site into a progressive and sustainable workplace building and Petal ably assisted the client to achieve its low carbon construction goals. The £28 million project is predicted to exceed RIBA’s 2030 Climate Challenge and LETI’s 2030 targets.
