St Catherine’s School

Petal worked alongside contractor Sunninghill Construction to provide the washroom facilities for this contemporary 6th Form Boarding House at St. Catherine’s School, Bramley. A bespoke approach was adopted for this three storey new build project which incorporated 18 new washroom cores. A customised design was implemented into each set of cubicles to cater for both the WCs and shower facilities contained within each room.

Petal’s Thor Extra cubicles were carefully selected in a variety of subtle tones by the school’s design committee. Thor’s semi-framed system was the ideal choice as it has been specifically designed to withstand the rigours of a busy educational setting. With full height doors, it guarantees maximum privacy, an important consideration given the shared nature of this accommodation.

Solid surface vanity units with bespoke solid surface shelving and seamless integral bowls were chosen to complete the look for this modern building. A bespoke under counter cabinet was also installed to house baskets for wet towels and this also serves to provide emergency access to pipe valving.
